Just plug it in with short patch cable. Power off the TC.. You may need some help as it is hard to both hold in reset and apply power. It will show success by rapidly blinking the front led.
Release the reset.. The reset is fairly fragile in these.. I have seen people bend the lever or even break it. I use a toothpick as tool. None of your files on the hard disk of the TC are deleted..
Setup of the AC model TC should not be done from windows.. Just ignore the warning that you need a different utility. Or do the setup from a Mac or ipad or iphone.
